The First Light Young Partners invite you to the 4rd Annual Dancing with the Stars of the Magic City, presented by Surgical Care Affiliates at the historic Lyric Fine Arts Theatre on Thursday, October 10th! All proceeds from this event will benefit First Light’s emergency shelter and supportive housing programs for homeless women and their families. Dancing with the Stars of the Magic City brings together local stars and choreographers for a spectacular one-night competition you do not want to miss. Each team will perform a 90-second dance routine and compete for trophies including the Torch People’s Choice Award, which will be given to the team who inspires the most support for First Light.

Brazilian Day is an annual festival that brings the food and culture of Brazil to Birmingham. Guests can spend the day listening to the sounds of Brazilian music and eating fresh food cooked by local Brazilians. The food includes full meals of rice, beans and meat, fried delicacies, barbequed meat, açaí smoothies, deserts and more! There are also plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy such as the inflatable zone, face painting and games. The money raised at the event is used for missions and humanitarian projects!
