Science minded teams and individuals, over 21 that is, can try their hand at the classic elementary student competition. Can your team keep your egg protected while dropping it from atop Vulcan's 124-foot high pedestal?! The goal: to keep your egg from landing "sunny side up!"
There will be "bobble-butt" Vulcan trophies awarded for various categories! Beer will be provided by Ghost Train Brewing Co., Saw’s Street Kitchen will be on site, soda/ waters supplied by Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. and last, but not least, JD & the Man will be rocking out with us! Come help raise some funds for the Brent Newman Memorial Egg Drop students as you relive one of your favorite school projects! Admission for spectators is just $10 (only $8 for Members!) and includes one drink!

The WBHM Junior Board presents the first ever This Alabama Life, a variety show with a public radio flair. Local performers will take the stage with music, poetry, storytelling, spoken word and much more. WBHM on-air personalities will appear throughout the event, which supports the station.
You'll see performances by local artists and presenters such as blues musician Early James and a Pseudo-Science Thursday by 2016 Ted Talks Prize winner Sarah Parcak. Don’t miss the inaugural WBHM Junior Board spectacular. Doors open at 6pm, and the show will begin at 7:15pm! Tickets start at just $30!

Experience what Birmingham might have been like 90 years ago with a speakeasy cocktail, swinging live music, and some gallery activities that will really blow your wig. They’ll even have the curator of Magic City Realism, Kate Crawford, on hand to offer pop-up gallery talks. It’ll be the bees knees!

Entertainment will be provided by the Taco Truck Tuesday improv troupe at 6:30 p.m., and poetry will begin at 7:00 p.m. Longtime Bards & Brews poet Lee Green is a member of Taco Truck Tuesday.
