Join the library for a live reading of Charles Dickens' beloved story "A Christmas Carol." Your favorite neighborhood librarians, shop owners, and friends will appear as characters in the story. The reading should last approximately one hour. Live music will accompany the reading. Doors open for cookies, cider, and hot chocolate at 6:30 before the performance at 7:00.

WBHM Tis the Season: Ornament on PianoWBHM: ‘Tis the Season

Get in the spirit at this family-friendly concert. Featuring ASFA's Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Choir and Concerto delle Donne with lots of not to be missed moments. The Jazz Combo is performing an original song by 11th grader Jeremy Duke featuring 3 student vocalists, Jaeden Henderson, Charity Seltzer and Diamond Sparks. There's an audience sing-along to a collection of Christmas songs led by Dr. Robert Janssen's Jazz Ensemble. Then the orchestra joins in the fun playing to a narration of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas," by Brad Hill, Director of Curriculum & Instruction.
And if that isn't enough holiday cheer, we also got word that Santa will be joining the show this year!

Step back in time along candlelit walkways to celebrate Christmas and enjoy the traditions of yesteryear. The Christmas Candlelight Tour will feature living history demonstrations, the Unreconstructed String Band, and cookies with Santa Claus. Rental cabins will be open for visitors to see, craft cabins will be open, and there will be a holiday market in the Iron and Steel Museum. Everyone is welcome! No advance tickets are required. The Christmas Candlelight Tour and Open House will be a self-guided walk through the park and the holiday traditions of long ago.
