It’s a 3 day weekend! Since 1947 Birmingham has celebrated Veterans Day! (We were the FIRST city to do so!) This year, the parade is moving to Railroad Park. Construction for the Highland Park Community Garden is officially underway! To celebrate the opening of the Garden, we will be throwing our first annual community Bark Party at the Clubhouse on Highland! This event is FREE and open to all, but donations are welcome to benefit Highland Park Community Garden. The event will feature self-guided garden tours, a live band, food, drinks AND a dog costume contest and talent show! Birmingham residents love their dogs, and this is a great way to celebrate these cute, furry symbols of the neighborhood along with the launch of a community project!

It’s the 47th Annual Fine Craft Show and Sale featuring over 40 juried artists from across Alabama.
