This weekend you can celebrate both Birmingham Pride and Father’s Day with some fantastic events! There’s also an event centered around dogs and one for Cat Dads! Be sure to catch the 2025 Pride Parade Saturday night in Lakeview and the official Pride Fest in Linn Park on Sunday! Venues celebrating will include Saturn, Sidewalk Cinema, House Eleven, Good Dog, and many more! It’s time to show up and support our LGBTQ+ friends and neighbors!

For the month of June, Soundtrack Karaoke will be celebrating the power of jukebox musicals on the big screen. Enjoy this one night affair of singalong hit-parade theatre. The Goat or, Who Is Sylvia?" by Edward Albee is a play about a successful architect, Martin, who seemingly has an ideal life with his wife and son, but his world is shattered when he confesses to his best friend that he is deeply in love with “Sylvia,” causing a devastating chain of events that destroys his family and reputation. This play has quite the twist and addresses societal topics through an over the top tale you won’t soon forget! Be sure to check the schedule for the “pay what you can” “Hobo Nights.”

Milk & Honey returns for another Pride extravaganza like no other this Friday as the official Friday night event of Central Alabama Pride! The event will welcome back to the house Stevo Blaque with a double set and our special guest headliner, the fierce DJ/Producer and Label Boss of Chub Rub from Washington, DC, Baby Weight! As your guest performers, Milk & Honey presents two legends of Alabama drag, your reigning National Entertainer of the Year 2024, Genesis, and King Extraordinaire, Spikey Van Dykey. The fabulous Luminarts team is back to bring the light all night long! Milk & Honey is an energetic blend of EDM and performing arts and always has a few surprises in store! Start Father’s Day weekend with a fun, family-friendly event at The Summit! Touch-a-Truck invites kids to get up close with real vehicles from local community helpers—they can climb aboard fire trucks, check out construction equipment, and even meet the people who operate them. While the kids explore, dads can relax in the Peter Millar Dad’s Lounge, complete with a golf simulator, complimentary drinks, and a chance to win premium prizes.

Juneteenth 2025: Wellness Day

Good Dog's Annual PRIDE Party is here! Bring the dogs, have a drink and pregame for the pride parade at Good Dog. Enjoy a coffee from June Coffee or a pastry from Last Call Baking while you're there. 2025 Birmingham Pride Parade

It’s time for the 2025 Central AL Pride Parade in downtown Birmingham! This festive event brings Birmingham together to celebrate and support our LGBTQ+ community and allies. Get ready for colorful outfits, candy, fun floats, dancing, music, and more! The parade will make its way down 7th Ave South, through the heart of Lakeview, and will include local businesses, churches, and community organizations. The Tragic City Rollers will be one of the Grand Marshalls this year! The parade starts at 8pm, but you’ll want to arrive early, grab a bite from a local restaurant, and secure a good spot! Father’s Day at Bham District Brewing
