St. Symeon Culture Fair, JLB Shop Save Share, Barktoberfest, and more! 
This weekend brings us a phenomenal Culture Fair at St. Symeon, Barktoberfest at Cahaba Brewing, Pumpkin Carving at Monday Night Brewing, and so much more! Oak Mountain is also hosting their Harvest Festival all day Saturday. There are a ton of ways to get into the Fall spirit as we get into the height of Spooky Season! If you weren’t aware, Sidewalk Film Festival & Cinema, a 501c3, had a $25k pre-approved federal grant clawed back because of their dedication to inclusivity in their programing.  The best thing you can do to help is to check out what’s going on at Sidewalk Cinema this weekend and buy tickets to their events and concessions once you arrive! They host all kinds of events like karaoke, FREE Bad Movie Nights, Knitflix & Chill, Pajama Brunches, and fantastic films! JLB Shop, Save, Share!

A Very Gilmore Girl Night

Performances from: Jagu4r, Lykwid , Six28 , Yuree, Sho, Waffles, plus more local and out of state talent! This Halloween Rave takes place in the Shed at an actual haunted venue! Experience 3 EDM music stages ranging from Bass, Techno, Club, and Latin Adjacent genres.
Featuring 19 artists, a runway style costume contest with prizes to be won, tons of vendors, food trucks, flash tattoos, and more!

Get ready for baked goods, gifts, and hot lunch foods! We absolutely love this festival! There will be church tours and a choir performance at 11am. You can shop at their market while enjoying Greek Donuts! All of the food is made fresh and is incredibly delicious! You don’t want to miss out on this event!

Head to Railroad Park from 10am-12pm this Saturday morning and celebrate democracy and our constitution! Make it fun! You may see some inflatable costumes while you’re there! It’s a time to celebrate that American doesn’t do “Kings” or “Dictators,” not even for a single day. Let’s have some fun and make our voices heard.

Pumpkin Junction

This event will definitely get you into the Fall spirit! Head to the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum in Calera for a festive train ride and some fall fun! You’ll sign up for a time slot to ride a historic train to Pumpkin Junction at Ozan Winery. You can ride in an original train car, or enjoy an open air car to take in the fall leaves. Once you arrive, you’ll have 45 minutes to enjoy inflatables, a crafting station, lawn games, a pumpkin patch, and some food trucks! They even have some wine and spirit samples for the adults!  This event is also designed for sensory inclusion as well. We went last weekend with Amber’s family and had such a great time!
