It’s officially FALL! 
Despite how it might feel outside, Fall is officially here! Kick off the Fall event season with FIESTA, enjoy some fried fish at the Cahaba River Frydown, and listen to the symphony at the Botanical Gardens! Vintage Market Days: Firesides and Flannel

Get ready for cozy flannels, s'mores by the campfire and winter holidays! Get a jumpstart on your fall and holiday decor while you check off all the names of your Christmas list when this 3 day event returns to the beautiful Finley Center at the Hoover Met.  It’s all indoors and climate controlled too! This event will bring vendors from across the country with their very best true vintage, spring holiday gifts, boutique clothing, handmade treasures, antiques, original art, home decor, children’s clothing, jewelry, seasonal plantings, yummy treats, and SO MUCH MORE! Thursday evening VIP hours (open to all) means first dibs at "the good stuff", giveaways every 15 minutes, VMD totes with goodies and market cash to the first 100 presale ticket holders to arrive and the chance to shop ALL 3 DAYS! Tapas and Taps

Tapas and Taps is a unique fundraiser for Arc of Central Alabama which incorporates local restaurants and businesses for an evening to experience the taste of Mountain Brook and beyond! Purchase your ticket to enjoy live music, small plates, pop-ups, raffle items, local drinks, and more right in Lane Parke on Rele Street! Tickets will include unlimited food samples, two drink tickets and a raffle ticket!

Alabama Comic Con

If you love nerdy pop culture, cosplay, and fandoms, this is the event for you! Alabama Comic Convention is a two-day event being held at the Birmingham–Jefferson Convention Complex that will bring together a diverse list of guests, vendors, artists, and fan groups, in a safe, family-friendly environment. There are always tons of great vendors, artists, and fun activities, as well as special celebrity guests!   Kids 10 & under FREE and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with paid admission, limit of two kids free per paid adult.

Fiesta 2024

The festival provides family-friendly fun for all ages. While the largest crowd can be found in front of the main music stage, Fiesta offers a wide assortment of activities, from storytelling to wrestling exhibitions. Music, dance, performing arts, visual arts, children’s activities, soccer, cultural education, authentic Latin food as well as community and health-related resources are all part of the event. Be sure to shop the array of colorful items sold by local vendors and eat some delicious food from the markets and food trucks on site!

Prost!! Oktoberfest with Birmingham District Brewing Co. and The Son of a Butcher is happening Saturday, September 28th from 4-7pm! Enjoy live music, seasonal beers, house made brats, and festive sides from Birmingham's Butcher Shop! They’ll be set up as a first come, first served pop up at Birmingham District serving house made beer brats, soaked and cooked in their Oktoberfest beer, with house made sauerkraut, German potato salad, and mustard for $15 a plate.
