Substrate Radio’s Jackie Lo takes you on an intergalactic road trip of absolutely free frenetic fancy and fun with Saturn's brand spanking new 1960s bingo time machine. Fiddler on the Roof

TRADITION!!! The original production of Fiddler won 10 Tony Awards®, including a special Tony Award® for becoming the longest-running Broadway musical of all time. Now you can see it in Birmingham! A wonderful cast and a lavish orchestra tell this heartwarming story of father and daughters, husbands and wives, and the timeless traditions that define faith and family. Russell did Fiddler when he was in high school, so this musical is one of his favorites!

Birmingham Bulls Thirsty Thursday

The Bulls take on the Evansville Thunderbolts this Thursday at the  Pelham Civic Complex! It’s a ThirstyThursday, so they will have $3 Coors! College students get in for just $10 with a valid student ID. So, grab some friends and head down to Pelham for a fun night!

Bards & Brews: April Fools Slam

Don’t miss the next Bards & Brews Poetry Slam on Thursday, March 31, at Cahaba Brewing Company! Art After 5: A Different World

The BMA is taking it back to Hillman College with Art After 5: A Different World! Inspired by the classic sitcom, they are celebrating late 80’s and 90’s attire through the lens of upcycled fashion. So whether you’re channeling Whitley or Denise, Dwayne or Ron, arrive in Hillman’s finest attire to embrace all the nostalgia you forgot you needed at the BMA! Enjoy the fifth annual Recycled Runway fashion show presented by Bib & Tucker Sew-Op, get your bounce on to 90’s hip-hop tunes, and take part in art activities inspired by the coolest collegiate, Dwayne Wayne. Grill to Build BBQ Competition

Birmingham Walking Tours: Historic Loft District

Birmingham’s Historic Loft District represents adaptability. The area has had to pivot many times over the years, yet remains one of the most historically relevant places in the whole city. Standing in one spot in this district would look strikingly similar to someone today as it did 100 years ago. This tour focuses on the history of the area while highlighting the beautiful architecture of the historic buildings. Registration is $25 for Vulcan Park and Museum members and $30 for non-members. Space is limited and advanced registration is required.
