Food, Fun, and LOTS of Culture! 
This weekend has a ton of food-centric events and we couldn’t be more excited! We are judging the Gumbo Gala at Ghost Train on Saturday, so be sure to stop in and see us. The Stallions return with their first home game of the season, and there are plenty of markets and festivals! Check out all the fun below and be sure to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather!

Join in for Sidewalk’s Soundtrack Karaoke- Blockbuster ‘90s Edition!
For the month of April, Soundtrack Karaoke is taking a trip down memory lane to the 1990’s, highlighting a slew of “blockbuster” motion picture soundtracks from the decade along with various films documenting a wide range of artists and events (i.e., documentaries, concert films, bio-pics, etc). St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church will celebrate its 26th Annual Lebanese Food and Cultural Festival from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday and Saturday! Admission is FREE! Come try homemade Lebanese food for lunch, dinner, or dessert; watch traditional Lebanese dancing demonstrations; bid on a premium item at the Silent Auction; participate in an informative Church tour; and dabke to a live Lebanese band!

The 2024 Mt Laurel Spring Festival is set for Saturday April 13th from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Celebrate the best spring has to offer in the beautiful Town of Mt Laurel where guests have the opportunity to shop our vibrant street fair, savor dishes from the best local area restaurants and food trucks, and enjoy a day strolling the idyllic streets of one of Birmingham’s best neighborhoods. The Mt Laurel Spring Festival, now in its 24th year, has continually grown to be a premier family event. Gumbo Gala is the annual fundraiser for Episcopal Place. Teams battle it out, to determine who has the best gumbo in Birmingham. Guests will get to enjoy gumbo tastings, live music, beverages, and a GREAT time. The event is family friendly and ADA accessible. There are no pet allowed since this is a food event. We’ll be judging the food, so be sure to say hi!
