This weekend is PACKED with delicious food, cultural experiences, and some great music! You can also check out both football and futbol as both the Stallions and Legion FC are playing at Protective Stadium. It’s also the final weekend of “Dear Evan Hansen” at Red Mountain Theatre! A legendary pop star, Tiffany earned two U.S. number one hit singles with “I Think We’re Alone Now” and “Could’ve Been,” and set a record as the youngest female artist to top the Billboard charts with her debut album. In 2000, Billboard ranked Tiffany’s album The Color of Silence as the “Top Ten Best Albums of the Year.” She hit the charts again recently after “I Think We’re Alone Now” was heavily featured in the final season of Stranger Things!  Don’t miss your chance to see this pop icon live at Workplay!

AwakenUS YALL: Music Festival

AwakenUs is a four-day festival at the gorgeous campground of Bohamia, located just down the road in Talladega, AL.  This year's theme is "YALL," or "You Are Love & Light." This festival features primarily EDM DJ sets with a mix of House, Techno, Trance, and other EDM sub-genres. The weather should be near perfect for camping and enjoying the outdoors! The festival also features art activations, an effigy burn (think Burning Man), and a group hike to a waterfall!  This is a great festival for those thinking of trying Bonnaroo for the first time! You’re guaranteed to make some fantastic friends and have a wonderful time both dancing into the night and relaxing in nature!

This critically acclaimed and Tony Award-winning 2015 musical comes to RMT for the first time. All his life, Evan Hansen has felt invisible. When a tragic event shocks the community, Evan's choices – and lies –
leave him at the center of the turmoil. As Evan works through his adolescent confusion, grief, and the pressures of the online world, it becomes the story of the universal need to find acceptance. Spring Plant Sale

The nonprofit Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens will host its annual Spring Plant Sale on Friday, April 17–Saturday, April 18, in person at Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Hundreds of plants—many of which have been nurtured at the Gardens by the Friends’ dedicated volunteer growing groups—will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the sale will support the Friends’ mission: to protect, nurture, and share the wonders of Birmingham Botanical Gardens. The sale will be held in the Gardens’ Formal Lawn and Hill Garden. Members of the Friends will enjoy first dibs on plant offerings through our Member Early-Bird Shopping (1–5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 16).

The St. Elias Lebanese Food Festival is by far one of our favorite cultural events each year! Stop by to purchase some delicious food, fun items from their market place, and celebrate Lebanese culture! There will be dancing, music, and so much fun!
