As students at the United States Navy's elite fighter weapons school compete to be the best in the class, one daring young pilot learns a few things from a civilian instructor that are not taught in the classroom. The legacy of African American businessman A. G. Gaston still inspires today’s emerging entrepreneurs and business leaders. Although his role in the struggle for civil rights in Birmingham may not be widely known, it was indeed pivotal in the 20th century and helped to change the course of history in Alabama and the nation. Head to the BCRI Sunday for the opening reception of their newest exhibition, A.G. Gaston: The Man and His Legacy. The event will also include a book signing of Black Titan: A.G. Gaston and the Making of a Black American Millionaire by author Carol Jenkins.

Fame! is a storytelling show hosted by comedians Chris Ivey and Peter Davenport.
On the last Sunday of each month, Chris and Peter recruit some of their funniest friends to tell stories about the time they met a celebrity. In the past, they have had stories about Oprah, Kanye West, Jennifer Lawrence, Dave Chappelle, Bonnie Rait, Ja Rule, Dr. Phill and many many more. You never know who will pop up!
