Happy Thanksgiving Birmingham! Whether you yell “Roll Tide!” or “War Eagle!”, it’s Going to be a Crazy Weekend!
First of all, we are SUPER thankful for all of you, our followers! Y’all are the reason we love documenting our Birmingham adventures!
Other than Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Shop Small Saturday, and The Iron Bowl it’s a fairly slow weekend in the ‘Ham. ;-) Seriously though, this will be a shorter than normal Roundup. We hope that if you have family visiting you will show off the city via one of the events below! Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving, y’all!

This is the place to be after you recover from your food coma. Wild and wacky Saturn crew members, Kendall Yancey and Michael Greene take you on an intergalactic road trip of absolutely free frenetic fancy and fun with Saturn's brand spanking new 1960s bingo time machine. Jokes will be had, gag gives will be grabbed, and mostly people will be screaming B-I-N-G-O at the top of their lungs a whole lot!

**Brrrmingham Ice Skating Opening Day!

Railroad Park's Brrrmingham, presented by Red Diamond Coffee & Tea returns November 25, with a bigger rink & enhanced experience. Just as last year, the rink will be positioned on the brick surface on Railroad Park's Regions Bank 17th Street Plaza. The Boxcar Cafe will be serving warm & delicious meals to anyone joining in the fun this winter, as well as Red Diamond coffee. Special recipe white hot chocolate & apple cider will keep skaters warm. New this year, the Boxcar Café will serve breakfast on weekends, including breakfast sandwiches, shrimp and grits, and grits bowls filled with a choice of Conecuh sausage, cheese, and eggs. Birmingham food trucks will also serve the park on various Saturdays! Wear some thick socks and hit the ice, hopefully not with your butt!

Traditionally, the day after Black Friday is Shop Small Saturday. This is the perfect time to check off some boxes on your Christmas list!
