In an event like none other, KalopsiART brings together art, mental health, and the Birmingham community at Avondale Brewing Company! Benefiting Impact Family Counseling, students will showcase their interpretation of mental health through art at a one-of-a-kind art auction. Parents, teachers, art admirers, will have the chance to take home each and every art piece on display with all proceeds going back to support Impact’s incredible Schools Program. They’ll be turning up the heat to beat arthritis, the nation’s leading cause of disability. Proceeds from Mudbugs & Music support the Arthritis Foundation's mission to conquer and cure arthritis. Representatives from Jones Valley Teaching Farm and Urban Ministry will offer cooking demonstrations and food tastings, complete with take-home recipes. At select classes, Project Yummy, the Junior League of Birmingham's Mobile Teaching Kitchen, will be onsite to encourage healthy eating and basic cooking skills for children.
