The Women Gather

An inspiring showcase of local women's talent including spoken word, music, art, fashion, dance, and more. Admission is free and donations will be accepted to benefit BCRI's Heritage Alive Early Literacy Program. This is a great event for a great cause!

Get Healthy on the Railroad - Family Fun Day

Join Railroad Park for FREE exercise classes at 6 p.m. every weekday! RRP offers a different class each day to help you achieve your fitness goals.
Fridays are Family Fun night! Get the entire family on track to better health with this fun hour of low to high impact activity designed to promote exercise for all ages. Families are invited to enjoy team activities like kickball, soccer or wiffle ball. Each class will begin with a warm up and light stretching, followed by the game of the week. In addition to providing physical benefits, Family Fun Friday also provides mental health benefits and social interaction for the entire family.

Night Hike

Experience Oak Mountain State Park after dark! Go on this guided night hike and see what glows, calls, and crawls at night on the trails! Meet at the Beach Access Parking Lot on Terrace Drive at 7:00pm then hike on the Treetop Nature Trail! Bring a Flashlight or Headlamp it will be dark! Not stroller friendly. No pets please. Free event. Only Pay for entrance to the park.
