Birmingham Restaurant Week is HERE!

This week is the return of Birmingham Restaurant Week, where you can try some great prix fixe menus at your favorite restaurants ranging from $5-$50.  This weekend also has lots of opportunities for shopping local, live music, and delicious food! Be sure to check out the HICA Pig Roast at Cahaba to get some delicious whole-hog BBQ!  Check the full rundown of events below!

HICA’s 4th Annual Pig Roast

Don’t miss this fantastic event that brings together Alabama's passion for good barbecue and the rich Latino communities in Birmingham! What happens at a pig roast? There's a lot that goes down before it’s ready to eat. First, they build a fire pit. Then, after seasoning the lechones, they slow cook them—for hours and hours (read, overnight). You get to join in for juicy; tender pulled pork, delicious sides, family-friendly entertainment, and more this Saturday!  Plus, try their new Cahaba del Rio beer—a Mexican lager beer by Cahaba Brewing Company brewed for the event.
