Spooky Season is in full swing and there are some great Fall and Halloween themed events to check out! Be sure not to miss the St. Symeon Food and Culture Fair, the Barber Vintage Festival, and Mt. Tapas and Taps is a unique fundraiser for Arc of Central Alabama which incorporates local restaurants and businesses for an evening to experience the taste of Mountain Brook and beyond! Don’t miss this weekend-long event featuring various motorcycle-related activities, including Grand Marshal Kenny Roberts, motorcycle displays, demo rides, stunt shows, and food trucks! There will be an incredible Fan Zone, and a Kids Zone for the young ones. If you like classic and custom motorcycles, this event is a MUST!  Barber Vintage Festival attracts attendees from all over the country and even has a big international following, so it’s so cool that it takes place right here in Birmingham! Helena's Buck Creek Festival is back this weekend! Festival hours are 6-10pm on Friday, 10am-8pm on Saturday. Don’t miss their famous Duck Race at 3pm Saturday! Oak Hill Cemetery Fall History Tour

Flicks Among the Flowers is back! This free event features the 1998 movie Halloweentown starring Debbie Reynolds, Kimberly J. Brown, Emily Roeske, and Joey Zimmerman. Movie rating: PG. Gates open at 5 p.m. Come dressed for the costume contest! Bring a blanket or a low-profile lawn chair. The movie begins at sunset (around 6:30 p.m.). Presented by Publix Super Markets Charities and hosted by the Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens Junior Board. A suggested donation of $5 is encouraged. All donations received will support the Friends’ summer intern program.
