Last year we were asked to be official bloggers for REV’s Birmingham Restaurant Week. To say we had fun would be an understatement! From fast casual lunches, to white tablecloth dinners, we got to experience a vast array of our city’s culinary scene! It’s no wonder that Birmingham gets national and international attention, on a regular basis, for its food offerings!


Restaurant week provides an opportunity for you to sample multiple courses at various restaurants for a special fixed price! It challenged our preconceptions of certain restaurants and opened our eyes to how many top notch options are available in our area!

In addition to pre-fix menus, #BRW2017 hosts multiple events that provide a chance for you to get to know the cooks and chefs that continue turning out incredible dishes on a daily basis. You can also learn about wine and how to mix tasty cocktails, shaken not stirred.

This event sells out every year, so act fast! On August 9th Pickwick Plaza in Five Points South will be transformed into a pop-up entertainment district! We will be making our rounds talking with various chefs as they serve up samples of their popular menu items! There will also be beer, wine, and spirits to sip on as you enjoy live music, and a Sidewalk Film Festival pop-up theater that will be showing some great food documentaries! This year there will be complimentary valet parking available! (There’s an app for that!) It’s sure to be a who’s who of the Birmingham food scene! Get your tickets here!
