These events are so much fun! Whether it’s the sharp blade of a samurai sword or the elegance of a 5,000 year old Jomon vessel, the BMA’s Japanese collection is sure to pique your interest! Please drop-in and join Docent Nick Bouler for a FREE tour of the Japanese gallery at 11:00 am. It’s a great way to spend your lunch!

The Loved OneFilm Night: The Loved One

Join Oak Hill for an encore showing of Tony Richardson’s 1965 comedy classic, The Loved One. This film stars Robert Morse, Anjanette Comer, Rose Steiger, Jonathan Winters, and a host of others. Bring your chairs, blankets and picnics and join us. (This event is not recommended for young children.) The gates open at 6, and the film will begin at 7:15.Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.

It’s back! The first dance walk of 2019 will be on Sunday at Railroad Park! They'll meet on the grass across from the Boxcar Cafe (which is located under the 17th Street Plaza covered area). Look for the balloons! What is Dance Walking? It's a fun fitness craze sweeping the globe. They are dancing and walking through Birmingham on a quest for fun, people, music, and FITNESS! Everyone is welcome and all ages are encouraged to join!
