Boo at the Zoo!

Make your Halloween plans all month long in October with the Birmingham Zoo! Watch as the Zoo transforms into a destination of spooky attractions, themed rides and carnival games for 18 nights! Experience the excitement on Henley Park with inflatables, ghostly Ghoul School, Bat Keeper Chats and so much more! Guests are invited to wear their favorite family-friendly costumes as they partake in the festivities. Trick or Treat Lane will be the sought after candy place for anyone with a sweet tooth! Take a wild ride around the Zoo on our Eerie Express Train. The Spider Slide, Ghost Rollers and Scarousel are just a few thrills that are sure to entertain children of all ages.

Hatching Hope Fundraiser for Hurricane Relief

Birmingham comes together to raise money to aid in the relief of Hurricane Michael victims throughout the Florida panhandle. All proceeds will go towards the relief efforts of Hatching Hope.
During the day: donations such as water, basic toiletries, and canned goods can be delivered to the Feel the Beat Entertainment/ Cool Shots Photo Booth/ Ring Light Photos offices.
Starting at 6pm Feel the Beat Entertainment and Ring Light Photos will be available at GoKickball Birmingham with Hatching Hope volunteers on hand to receive cash and/or credit card donations. We will have a truck on hand to receive water/toiletries/basic need donations as well. There will be an opportunity to purchase T-Shirts benefiting the cause, which will be donated by 205 T-shirt Company. Starting at 7pm Innisfree Irish Pub will be donating a portion of all Tito's Handmade Vodka and Coors Light sales to the Hatching Hope relief efforts in the FL panhandle. You will also find a photobooth here provided by Cool Shots Photo Booth and Hatching Hope volunteers that will be accepting cash/credit card donations.
All donations that are made on this day have a chance to win a donated prize from Soca Clothing Homewood and Brass Monkey Outfitters. All you have to do is make a post on social media with the hashtag #BhamReliefEfforts #850Strong #BhamCares and tag Brass Monkey Outfitters, Soca Clothing and Ring Light Photos.

Get ready to PIG OUT at the Pig Iron! Over 30 corporate cooking teams will compete to be the BEST in meat, sauce, and tent decorating categories. Hosted by the City of Hoover at the Hoover Met RV lot, crowds of over 8,000 come to enjoy a host of different foods during the Public Tasting portion of the day. The Trick or Trot 5K is a costume run benefiting Kid One Transport. The race starts and ends at Back Forty Beer Company Birmingham and takes runners through the Lakeview District of Birmingham.
