Birmingham Events: Easter Weekend 2025
Happy Easter Weekend!
Let’s HOP right into the events for this weekend! You’ll be able to enjoy some egg hunts, a “keg hunt,” a movie at Vulcan Park, an Earth Day festival, and events at both Magic City Organics and Avondale Apothecary! AwakenUS Festival
Thurs-Sun, April 17-20

AwakenUs is a 3-day camping festival with music, art, workshops and more! Located at the beautiful Bohamia campground outside of Talladega, AwakenUs brings together local and regional EDM DJs on two stages for a fantastic weekend. This festival offers the chance to dance the night away under the stars (and some really cool light effects) and hike to the nearby creek during the day to enjoy Alabama’s natural beauty! Come enjoy an atmosphere of “PLUR,” (Peace, Love, Unity, Respect.)

TrimTab Anniversary Boil

TrimTab is throwing down TWO DAYS IN A ROW to celebrate their anniversary! Farm Day 2025

Celebrate Alabama’s farming heritage and learn about how the Zoo staff care for the farm animals and conserve local, native wildlife. Guests can create rural-themed arts and crafts, experience a sheep shearing by our Animal Care Professionals, meet local agricultural groups in the Junior League of Birmingham Hugh Kaul Children’s Zoo with interactive booths, and more. Wing Wars Bham

The heat is on at Wing Wars Birmingham! Head to Cahaba Brewing Company to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Easter KEG Hunt

Birmingham District Brewing is hiding three small kegs around town for you to find! Two of the kegs will be painted in fun pastel colors and the third is a special “Golden Keg.” Each keg you find will get you a Birmingham District Brewing gift card! The rules are simple. The hunt begins at noon and goes until all three kegs have been located. District will be dropping hints on social media, but all kegs will be hidden within a one mile radius of the brewery! Once you find a keg, you will post a picture online and tag Birmingham District Brewing. They’ll send you a code to unlock the keg (a bike lock) and return it for the prize! We found one last year and had such a fun time searching for them!

Earthbounds Earth Fest

Earthbound will play their highly-anticipated annual outdoor concert, Earthbound’s Earthfest, at Avondale Brewery! Open to all ages (under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian), this family-friendly event’s purpose is to raise awareness for Earth Day and raise funds for Black Warrior Riverkeeper. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to improving water quality, habitat, recreation, and public health throughout the Black Warrior River watershed, which provides approximately half of Birmingham’s drinking water. Throughout the event, Earthbound will play several sets, joined by speeches from Riverkeeper and exhibits from local artists. Optional donations from the audience and merchandise sales will support Black Warrior Riverkeeper’s efforts to protect local waterways and drinking water sources.
