Hosted by The Arc’s Junior Board, they’ll have the usual food, drinks, great live music, photo booth, balloon drop with prizes, and grand prize drawing! All you need to do is show up in green (of course) and bring your luck! This is one of our favorite fundraisers of the year!!!

We always get up in the wee hours to kick off our St. Patrick’s celebration with a FREE breakfast at Innisfree! This year, since the 17th is on a Sunday, Kegs & Eggs is taking place Saturday morning! It’s a laid-back time and you can usually get some really cool St. Paddy’s Day swag! Traditional Bagpipers will make an appearance and there will be a DJ later in the evening! 13th Annual Holi Festival

The Birmingham Museum of Art is partnering with City Walk Birmingham to celebrate the vibrant and joyous Holi Festival with the Indian Cultural Society for its 13th annual event. Embrace the spirit of Holi, a traditional Indian festival marking the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. This colorful celebration is filled with live music, dance performances, art activities, and of course, the iconic throwing of colored powders. Suitable for all ages, the BMA’s Holi Festival is a perfect way to experience the richness of Indian culture, enjoy a fun-filled day with the community, and welcome the spring season in a burst of color and festivity. 
The colorful dance demonstration is just $5. There will also be white BMA shirts on sale for $12 that will pick up TONS of color powder when the excitement of color throwing starts at 3:30pm in CityWalk!

40th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade!

Put on some green and feel the luck of the Irish at the 40th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Five Points South! The parade will start on 10th Ave. S. along Brother Bryan Park, turn left and travel up 20th Street South starting at 1:30 p.m. It will be led by the Ian Sturrock Memorial Pipe Band and other area organizations and businesses, and will end at 2:30 p.m. From 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., participating restaurants and bars will offer Irish-themed food and drink specials, along with live entertainment.View menu and entertainment schedules below. Approved open containers will be allowed in the Five Points area as the district is an official Entertainment District. Before and after the parade, the outdoor celebration will continue on the Tower on Tenth Entertainment Stage in front of Highlands United Methodist Church. Performers are to include the Westwood Irish dancers from 11 to 11:30 a.m., Hooley from noon to 1:30 p.m., and after the parade Hooley will be joined on stage by the Alabama Pipe and Drum band.
