Portals art by Kelly OlshanPortals: Opening Reception
Thurs, Jan.9, 5-8pm
Cost: FREE
At: Ground Floor Contemporary (map)

Come sip wine and enjoy light snacks as you check out this new art exhibition at Ground Floor Contemporary! In Portals, artist Kelly Olshan presents a series of interconnected spaces for the viewer to navigate throughout the gallery, designing an otherworldly spatial logic in which one can “enter” through one composition and “exit” its counterpart. Kelly is a NYC-based artist and arts manager whose sculptural paintings invite the viewer to navigate a disjointed, architectural environment. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Olshan graduated Most Outstanding Visual Arts Senior from Alabama School of Fine Arts. She went on to earn her BFA in Painting from UNC Asheville. Her art will be on display until the 26th, but you don’t want to miss this opening!
